Mermaid tails~~

Here is another “swatch” for the Muppets Collection by OPI. This collection is packed full of glitter nail polishes. And the glitters and packed full of glitter!! I love it!

This time I decided to use OPI Fresh Frog of Bel-Air.

But first of course I put down my foundation. I love OPI In the Spot Light Pink. It is perfect for a natural nail color, but it helps to even out the nail bed and primes the nail for more lacquer. Here is a picture of two fingers, one painted with OPI In the Spot Light Pink (left) and plain base coat (right).

It is hard to notice the difference, but you can see it is shinier. Sorry the lighting isn’t the best, but in person it is more apparent. You can click on the photo to make it larger if needed. Here is a picture of all my nails painted with slightly better lighting.

The next step I have done many times before…I used one of my favorite colors, OPI Mermaid’s Tears.

After two light even coats of MT, I did two coats of OPI Fresh Frog of Bel Air.

These last few pictures I took the next day with better lighting.

My accent nail I did a little different. I used OPI MT and OPI Silver Shatter with one coat of OPI FFOBA.

That’s all folks!!

Happy Polishing! <3

Muppets!!

Whew!! What a weekend!! The bf surprised me with a trip to Disneyland for our anniversary. We don’t have a designated anniversary date, so it will always be a surprise. <3

I have been so busy with school and such I actually haven’t painted my nails for the past two weeks!!! Here is an old manicure for you guys.

First I started with OPI Malaysian Mist.

Then I used OPI Divine Swine and OPI Crown Me Already!!

Back to paying attention…

Love ya’ll

Have a safe and happy halloween!!

happy polishing…

I <3 the holidays!

A couple of weeks ago I got a few bottles from the OPI Muppets collection. This post is only showing OPI Rainbow Connection

OPI Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It

And OPI Designer…De Better

I used this color on my accent ring finger. It looks like a plain metallic, but if you take a closer look you can see the flakes of silver and bronze. This lacquer has tons of depth.

On my other fingers, I used a pencil to draw a heart shape on the tips of my nails like so.

Trace these lines with a corresponding color. Since OPI Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It is a deep red glitter, I used OPI Big Apple Red to help emphasize the deep red.

The next steps are easy, just apply your glitter coats. Here is OPI Rainbow Collection. I have to say, it is quite possibly the cutest glitter ever! This is two coats of RC over DDB.

OPI Getting Miss Piggy with It with one coat of Servin’ Up Sparkle.

Happy polishing!
